Andrej Kapor (b. Sarajevo, 1989) is an artist, writer and creative producer working across a range of disciplines with a particular focus on digital and multimedia production, publishing and live events. His practice is driven and informed by story, and rooted in various narrative traditions; exploring themes such as intimacy, rebellion and the transcendent.
Andrej is currently working with The New York Poetry Society, The James Joyce Centre, The Master Musicians of Joujouka, Knockanstockan, and others. He was previously artist–in–residence at La Catedral Studios (2015-2018), contributing editor to The Bogman’s Cannon, and a facilitator at Exchange Dublin.
A nomadic storyteller for a new era, he has toured internationally on a number of occasions, and his work has been published and exhibited extensively. He holds a BA (Hons) in Visual Communications from IADT Dun Laoghaire, and an international teaching qualification from the Himalayan Yoga Academy.
Andrej currently lives in the Netherlands where he is working on a Research Masters in Media, Art and Performance Studies at Utrecht University.
